Import Face Off St. Louis 2018
Import Face Off St. Louis 2018 was held in Madison, IL on April 29th, 2018. It was another amazing year back at the Gateway for an action packed Sunday!
The Missouri/Illinois area made sure to bring out their vehicles to show off what had been hiding from the winter months with a variety of updates and changes. Rides ranging from imports, domestic, exotic, and even a stretched out Beetle with a Chevy motor packed the show area. But this show had much more to offer than just the amazing rides and owners.
The drift area is where you could find drivers of all skill putting their cars, motors, tires, and skill to the test. Sliding around corners, drifting in tandem at times, or just throwing rubber and smoke as they slid around each of the cones. With this being one of the few Import Face Off events to feature drifting, it keeps the crowds of spectators and others entertained all day long with only a short break about half way through the day.
Many spectators made their way over to the grandstands to check out competitors racing in various classes, not only for the cash prize to the winner but also bragging rights! Everything from daily drivers to full blown drag cars were seen taking over the drag strip. It was an amazing event!
Heading over near the staging lanes, you could feel the bass and power, even if you were miles away! Those participating in the USACi audio competition at Import Face Off St. Louis 2018 were putting out plenty of decibels of bass from high powered amps to show that not all of the power at the track was on the strip.
