Mechman has just released a new 150 amp Black Billet Alternator built specifically for 1996 to 2013 GM full-size trucks and S10 Blazers with gasoline V6 or V8 engines. This special edition alternator produces 100amps of power at idle and reaches full output at 1800 RPMs.
This Special Edition Mechman Alternator produces more power at idle than most alternators produce at their peak power output, so this alternator is perfect for show, lowered, bagged, and daily driven applications. Not to mention the beautiful Black Billet housing that helps the WOW factor of any engine bay. Part # B8206150B fits most 1996 – 2004 GM Trucks while Part # B8302150B fits most 2005 – 2013 GM Trucks. These units can be custom ordered with self exciting or “one wire” regulators in them for easy wiring on show trucks or custom vehicles that have had the alternator plug removed.
