What was the inspiration?
We decided to do a patina build with this one and kept is as stock as possible. This was a one owner car when I found it. The old man had it buried in his backyard with another one and we paid him $1 a piece for them. this one was pretty solid, so we got it running, added air ride and did a few other small things.
How long did it take you to build?
here and there over about 2 years
How long have you been building?
40 years or so.
Club Affiliations
I am a member of Negative Camber, but these cars have not been stickered.
Your future plans?
Who knows, we are constantly building something new.
Vehicle history
This was a one owner car when I picked it up. In fact, I still have the original small title for it. It had been sitting for over 20 years in an older gentleman's back yard with another beetle. We bought them both for $1 a piece and built them both.
