Meaning Behind the Name
My wife Julie named it because first I ended up buying it on her 21st birthday and sometimes it does get a little more attention than her at times.

What was the inspiration?
My dad had bought the first year of that body style 87-88 when I was in junior high and putting together my 81 Chevy luv long bed. Even though I was totally into mini trucks that was the truck it had the perfect lines nice and classic kind of reminded me of the 67-72 era. So about a decade later after one of my good friends bought one I sold the Luv and bought the 98 brand new off the lot.
How long did it take you to build?
The original build took about 3 years to build from stock to lowered to bagged to bagged and body dropped the old fashioned way of course. Then we started shaving pretty much everything except the gas door and painting it Orange in 2001. Then as wheel choices started getting bigger and bigger the suspension had to change as well. So even though the truck has always looked the same it still has always evolved to keep up with the ever changing times.
How long have you been building?
I started in about 1993-1994 with the 1981 Chevy LUV which was the first truck I ever owned and was my dads hand me down work truck which we fixed up together and again after I wrecked it which then that truck turned into my first show truck.
Club Affiliations
I've been apart of the Oregon chapter of Relaxed Atmosphere for the last 7 years.
Your future plans?
Not sure on the next build my wife wants something old like a c10 or 3100 which would be kind of fun. I really like the CKs so maybe I can talk her into one of those.
Vehicle history
This was the first truck I ever bought brand new. At first I was just going to lower it wheels and tires something to tow the skis to the river. Of course still showing it things went from there so we notched the frame bigger and bagged it. then it still wasn't low enough then came the body drop still able to tow the skis to the river. Then came all the shaving and LED taillights and orange paint. The orange was actually not my first choice in colors. My close friends Corey Pentecost and Jason Light just happened to paint at the same body shop together and came up with this crazy Lamborghini Tricoat color. I was like um ok! They did the spray out and I brought it home to Julie which she wasn't super excited about the color. But when she saw the color on the truck it was all good!
Thanks to
My wife Julie for the last 20 years for the support, Corey Pentecost for helping on paint and body, Ron Perkins, Eric Bryant and Brian Arnold for helping with suspension, Shawn Altermott for wheels and tires, John Shaffer for keeping it running.
Previous Rides
My very first truck that I built was the Chevy LUV which not only hauled my jet ski to the river was also featured in MiniTruckin magazine and of course the one went on my first date in with Julie.
