Gauge Magazine August 2025 Issue

August 2, 2025 By KZ

Get ready to turn the page on one of the most packed issues of the year—Gauge Magazine’s August 2025 edition delivers big with stunning custom rides, top-tier event coverage, and a spotlight feature on this month’s Gauge Girl, RaeAnne. From coast to coast, this issue highlights the best of the custom car and truck scene with jaw-dropping builds, standout photography, and stories that capture what it really means to live the custom lifestyle.

FEATURE BUILDS

“Rags to Riches” – 1983 Chevy C10
Owner: Eric Czap | Photos: Chris Gosda
From a $1,500 junkyard cab to a full-blown frame-off masterpiece, Eric Czap’s ’83 C10 is the definition of a transformation. Built by Haas Designs and laid out on a custom Shocker Yellow chassis, this satin black beast is all about precision and performance. Featuring a fully built LS swap, Amani Forged wheels, QA1 suspension, and clean execution throughout, this truck is ready to cruise hard and show harder.

“Slammed_Ecostang” – 2016 Ford Mustang EcoBoost
Owner: Drew Jackson | Photos: Chris Gosda
What started as a clean daily driver has become one of the wildest widebody Mustangs in the country. Drew Jackson’s Slammed_Ecostang is wrapped in Gloss Metal Hawaii Mint with carbon fiber accents, sits on 19×14 Heritage 3-piece wheels, and is powered by a fully bolted-on 2.3L EcoBoost with a Precision turbo and water/meth injection. Airlift Performance suspension keeps it slammed, while the interior stuns with custom white panels, Braum seats, and DS18 audio.

“Black Sunday” – 1963 Chevy Impala Convertible
Owner: Vicki Garcia | Photos: Jason Carroll
Vicki Garcia’s timeless lowrider Black Sunday rolls deep with 13×7 gold and engraved wheels, a clean widebody, and a polished 2001 LS1 under the hood. The car is a reflection of Vicki’s lifelong love of Impalas, with a five-year build timeline executed by S&V Automotive. The satin black chrome base paint, engraved details, and B2 Audio setup make this one of the cleanest cruisers on the show circuit.
