SoWo 2020 Fall Tour was held in Maggie Valley, North Carolina on august 29th, 2020. As if 2020 hadn’t already put the Car Show scene through enough, this show also had to deal with aftermath of a hurricane bringing in torrential rain to the area.
The promoters pushed the show back a few hours to hopefully allow the area to dry up a bit. When it came time for the show, the few wet and muddy areas did not stop cars from coming in until around 2PM! If you thought that the rain would stop people from having a good time, you had the wrong idea!
SoWo 2020 Fall Tour is put on for all European brand cars, anything and everything attended from Audi, BMW, Volkswagen, Volvo, Mercedes, Porsche, etc. Putting all of these awesome rides inside of Maggie Valley with a beautiful background, it made for an amazing and beautiful show!
With a different set up from what the promoters are used to, the show brought in a wide range of makes, models, styles, and years! You could see anything at this show, from older Mercedes, Volvo’s, Air-Cooled Volkswagen’s, Brand New Audi R-8’s, VW GTI’s, and Audi RS5’s.
As if the rides didn’t top off the show enough, vendors were prepared with almost anything you could ask for from wheels, lubricants, clothing, performance parts, and even car dealers on site showing off some of their inventory!
2020 may go down as one of the worst years in history, but the Car Shows that have been able to make it happen this year make it a little bit easier for everyone!
The crew at SoWo definitely made the show a smooth transition with all of the restrictions brought in from the government and the untimely weather from mother nature. If you’re a euro enthusiast, this is a show that you don’t want to miss.
