The Term-LAB sound measurement system is a sophisticated test instrument designed for taking and analyzing sound-related measurements. The Term-LAB system consists of both hardware and software components. The hardware attaches to the USB port on a Windows based computer while the software application is installed onto the computer itself. This application is then used to control the external Term-LAB hardware, process the acquired measurement data, and display the resulting information. The Term-LAB is also the official meter for all major sound-off organizations worldwide!
Term-LAB is available in 2 models, the Term-LAB Magnum and the Term-LAB Rebel. Both systems include the SUPER SENSOR which includes dual circuitry to allow for BOTH types of High SPL Measurements including: – Low Frequency, High SPL measurements AND – Broadband, High SPL measurements (up to 3k) for OPEN SHOW. The LAB offers an optional RTA Microphone used for full-bandwidth (20-20K) measurements including motorcycle audio systems.
The Term-LAB MAGNUM is the top of the line system that is used by all major sound off organizations and promoters worldwide. The Magnum includes the Magnum Interface box, NEW Digital Super Sensor, Magnum judging software, 4 input ports, XLR jack, cables, carrying case, and is Event Promoter Pro compatible.
The Term-LAB REBEL Edition was created with the competitor in mind. It provides all of the core measurement capabilities of the Magnum at a more economical price. The system also provides a simple upgrade path for customers who decide they need all of the features offered by the Magnum at a later date. (The upgrade is a software download.) The Rebel can be used with a maximum of one sensor and one power probe at the same time. The Rebel can NOT be used for hosting shows. (You can practice, but you can’t save scores because the Rebel Edition software does not include database capabilities.)
The training module includes step-by-step instructions for setting up and using a Term-LAB measurement system. Instructions for downloading and activating the software, assembling the hardware, and performing a basic measurement will be demonstrated.
