With a Saturday filled with over 12 hours of car show fun, we cannot wait for the 2023 event! For feature rides we have a 1966 Ford Mustang that is unlike anything we have ever seen! We also have a 2006 Honda Shadow! You do not see many of these around like this one. We also have a 2002 Chevy S10, and this ride really shows off when the lights go out. You can see the Slamology 2022 Cars bringing in the lowest and sickest custom cars from around the US. Slamology 2022 Trucks which stole the show this year with AMAZING custom paint and graphics. The Slamology 2022 Hydraulics were a huge hit as always. Seeing the vehicles hop and dance is one for the books! The Slamology 2022 Bikini Contest is one that every participants runs to, just to make sure they get a good spot for the show. Slamology 2022 Music Festival brought in the hottest local artist, filling the event with sick beats! Slamology 2022 Semis were jaw dropping, these million dollar rigs are no joke! Slamology 2022 Limbo Contest is all fun and games, but those who take home the awards are the ones with real game! Slamology 2022 Other Rides continue to be one of our favorite coverages, we never know what our participants will bring in! The Slamology 2022 Tattoo Contest brings in people from all over the US who came to not only show off their ride, but their body art as well! The Slamology 2022 Audio Competition was so loud, they were heard from two towns over! Lastly, the Slamology 2022 Awards close our event, but it allows us all to come together to give awards to the rides that were nothing less than amazing! SEMA 2021 Domestic Cars had the winner of the Battle of the Builders award and we were in awe! SEMA 2021 Off-Road Trucks brought out the Chevy Beast that blew everyone’s mind! SEMA 2021 2WD Trucks had one ride that we believe stole the show; the Chain Smoker! SEMA 2021 Models came out and were more beautiful than ever. SEMA 2021 Celebrities came out and were ready to see their fans and show off what they have been working on! SEMA 2021 Bikes put their best foot forward and made sure the bikes they were brought were going to make a statement. Freaks of Nature Pre Party was a huge hit as always and SEMA 2021 Ignited was the perfect after party to end an amazing show! Trust us, we made sure to get coverage of every angle of the show! SEMA has changed a bit this year due to COVID-19 with the entire show being virtual, renaming the event SEMA 360! First up, we have event coverage from SEMA 360, starting with Trucks. The Trucks of SEMA had a huge year this year with Ford announcing their new F150 and Bronco! You won’t want to miss out on the Chevrolet C10 that placed in the Top 5 for Battle of the Builders! Next up is Domestic Rides. This year, for the first time since the award was created, a 1963 Chevy 2 Door Wagon took home the Battle of the Builders award! It was an amazing experience for the owner and everyone who watched as well! Congratulations! Next we have the Imports. The imports have always been very unique and nothing has since changed! There is a beautiful custom 1993 Mazda RX-7 that we cannot get enough of and we don’t think you will either! Lastly, we have Off-Road. Toyota announced that they have a new Tacoma that is capable of 370 horsepower and 330 pound-feet or torque. Also, check out what Off-Road vehicles made it into the final Top 12 for Battle of the Builders! Lastly for show coverage, we have Severed in the Midwest 2020! With beautiful weather, a raffle, awards, and much more; we know that you will love the coverage from this event! Heading over to feature rides, we have a 2011 Harley Davidson Street Glider owned by John Halcomb. This motorcycle is out of this world and is one mean, green fighting machine! Starting off with our event coverage, we first have East Tennessee Showdown 2018 and this show had so much to offer! Between the free moonshine tasting and amazing rides, this was one show you didnt want to miss. Next up we have 16th Annual Pacific Car Show, with not only some of the best rides around but also a beautiful location, there is no question as to why this is named one of the largest shows in the region! 20th Annual Funfest for Air-Cooler VW raised the bar for car shows! Allowing in VW of any year, size, and model but also bringing in a slalom course and lower mower races, this show changes the game! Features rides are up next, and we first have John McConnells 1966 Dodge Charger. This Charger is SICK and we are loving the way it looks. Gary Novacks 1950 GMC 100 and this is one ride that everyone will want to get their hands on. Gerrad Campbells 1956.5 Nissan Hardbody has had a lot of hard work into it and you can see that it paid off! (View Digital Version)February 2019 is full of the coverage that you have been needing! Starting off with our events, first up we have the GoodGuys 21st PPG Nationals. This show had definitely raised the bar when it comes to making the crowd happy. Full of vendors,cool rides, and amazing peopple this is the show you wanted to be at! Also, at the Goodguys Show, there was the GoodGuys 21st PPG Nationals Auto Cross. As if this show didn’t have enough, it also hosted an Auto Cross event that gave people a break from seeing all the amazing rides and vendors. This left people on the edge of their seat and excited for what the show could have next year. Eville Shindig is up next and we felt that this was the best year yet! Full of hot rods, custom rides, and bikes from pre-1968. Whether the rides were custom or stock, they were all amazing! Clean Custom x Import Expo was a huge hit as it was its first time in the Chicago area! They made sure their presence was known at this location and they are sure to be back next year. For featured rides this month, we have a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD owned by James Portale. This Chevy is not like anyone you have seen before! We also have Tom Hulting’s 1947 Mercury Convertible Coupe, completely custom and this ride is SICK! Lastly, we have Patrick Burns 1966 Toyota Tacoma and we all know you’ll want to get your hands on this ride. Last but never least, we have our Gauge Girl for February 2019: Sommer Shaye. Starting our cruise off with feature rides, we have a 2004 Nissan 350Z owned by Michael Novak. This ride, is one of the SICKEST 350z’s we have seen around! There is a good reason this ride is named Mistress. Next up is a 1986 Chevy Blazer owned by Ronnie Heston. If you aren’t mesmerized by this ride, we don’t know what will catch your eye! Another feature we have is a 1980 Chevy Monte Carlo, known as the Pinky 2.0. You won’t want to miss out on why this ride has its nickname! Show coverage is next on our list, and first up is Detroit Autorama. Remember when people thought that Cadillac Wagons were so uncool? You’ll take that statement back when you see the CadMad that won the Ridler Award at the Detroit Autorama. Lowered Standards Brewhaus 4 is next and although the weather took a turn for the worst, they made the best of the show and had some SICK rides attend! This show is held in May which is Brain Tumor Awareness month and that is what this show brings awareness to for a young boy named Jackson. Next up we have Beatersville 2017. This show was absolutely amazing and all of the vehicles that attended almost took your breath away! You won\'t want to miss out on that coverage! Last but not least, we have VW FunFest 2017. This show is one of a kind and strictly for VW, but it isn\'t like any show we have been to before. Friday night is cruise around, Saturday is movie night, and Sunday is a relax day? What more could you ask for! Now we head over to our feature rides. We’ve got Cody Cooks 2001 Chevy S-10 that is badass and we know you\'ll love it. Next is Dennis Quinn\'s 1953 Nash Rambler that is one of the nicest, traditional rides that we have seen in a long while. Best for last is Kevin and Lorie Longs 1941 Chevy Pickup that has such a rockin green color, they call it the “Green Machine!” We saved our best for last; Gauge Girl. Next we have the 5th annual Voodoo-A-Go-Go. This was the big finale for this show and they sent it off with a bang! Voodoo-A-Go-Go had made sure they brought a little bit of everything to make sure everyone left with a smile. Goodguys 20th PPG Nationals was a huge hit for many. With this show being one of the biggest of the year, you\'ll want to make sure you see this coverage! Lastly, DUB Battle Grounds Car Show was a huge hit and is one show we could not get enough of! With amazing rides from all around, you\'ll want to make sure you get to see this coverage! Next we head on over to our featured rides. Pleasant Cook has a 2017 Ford F250 that is completely custom and is a head turner for sure! Next up is Timmy Hensons 1998 Ford F150 that is one ride we wouldn\'t mind making our daily driver. Let’s start off with our Music Festival. We had many local bands come up on stage and rock out with crowd including Trajik, Hosier, Pistolero, and many more. We then have the Cars of Slamology 2018, which blew any other year completely out of the water! Trucks of Slamology 2018 did the same thing and brought a whole new ball game this year. The Tattoo Contest was a huge hit this year with people having some of the most amazing tattoos around! Next up we have the Limbo Contest where any truck, car, or contraption could participate to see who could win a trophy for going the lowest under the limbo bar. We cruise on over to the Hydraulics Competition where people were able to make their ride hop and dance as the crowd goes wild! Starting off with the Southeastern Minitruckin Nationals held in Maggie Valley, North Carolina. Who doesnt love a show full of the lowest rides around? Because we do! Next up is Jalopies for Jackson, this show we always hold dear to our hearts as its put on by the parents of a young boy who has dealt with 3 brain tumors before the age of 8. It’s an amazing atmosphere to be in when everyone puts their best rides out their for a very special occasion! Heading over to Cruise to the Pines, this show does a 75 mile long cruise through the mountains of Arizona. It’s a dream come true for all of our cruising fans out there! Last show for this issue is the St. Louis European Auto Show held in Chesterfield, Missouri. If you are into import rides, this is the show for you! Next stop is our feature rides and you’ll love what we brought this issue! First up we have a 1989 Mazda B2200 owned by TJ Vonder Haar. Not only does the ride look amazing from the outside, but the inside is BEAUTIFUL. Then we have a 1985 Buick Regal owned by Gary Craddock. If this ride doesn’t inspire you on your ride, we don’t know what will! Last but never least, we have a 2002 Chevrolet Xtreme. This is one ride we wouldn’t mind getting our hands on! First up we have Import Face Off Joliet 2018, with this show being known for the most innovative import series, it’s one you want make sure you attend. Beatersville Car and Bike Show 2018 was held on a beautiful, hot, summer day so it was perfect weather for a car show! All of the rides that attended were pre-1968 rat rods, gassers, trucks, and more! Next up is White Trash and White Walls. If you are in the Ohio area or have attended before, you know that this show is one no one wants to miss. Not only do the rides makes this show amazing, but the people do too! Last but never least, Severed in the Midwest 2018. The stepped up their ball game this year and we LOVED it (just as we do every year!) Our coverage will start with the Freaks of Nature SEMA Pre-Party. This is a traditional event that many who attend SEMA know to come to. Gauge Magazine always gives out an award to who feel has one of the best rides there, see who won! With SEMA’s import rides, even if you aren’t an import fan, you can’t help but love these rides! Domestic rides are up next and they raised the bar to a whole new level! 2wd Trucks had taken over the show this year in our opinion. The HooniTruck was one we could not keep our eyes off of! 4x4’s had lifted their trucks to the next level and continue to do that each year, how much higher can they go?! Motorcycles made sure that they were well known this year, with amazing detailed graphics and much more! The Models of SEMA are something that everyone looks forward to and if you have attended SEMA before, you know it is a goal for many to get a picture with each model! Don’t miss out on how beautiful each girl was. SEMA Ignited is always an amazing time for everyone. This event allows for the general public to attend as the rides that were at the show cruise around and show off what they brought! Included in SEMA Ignited is also a drift show, check out the coverage to see all the fun. Our feature vehicle for this month is Brandon Wargo’s 1979 Datsun 280ZX. (View Digital Version)Happy New Year! January 2017 marks our 18th straight year of bringing you nonstop event coverage and amazing custom vehicle features from across the globe. For the January 2017 issue we have continued this amazing journey with the beautiful Gauge Girl Mireika Edwards posing on an amazing Chevy from the SEMA show. Make sure not to Miss her Gauge Girl Interview and get an up-close look at her in a few different outfits. For feature vehicles this month we Have Justin Adams and his Supercharged 2012 Camaro RS/SS. This Camaro is so mild looking but packing massive power and so cool we had to grab photos for our readers. The next feature this month is an immaculate 1969 VW convertible owned by Bruce Paul. This full restoration features so many clean modifications such as dual carbs, Msd ignition, etc.. Do not miss this one! To wrap up features this month we arch up with Jay Jancetic and his 2009 Nissan 370z. Jay’s inspiration on this build was to have the highest documented WHP 370’s in the country. Just one look at the work that was put into this Nissan and it is easy to see that this goal was a reality! Show coverage this month we jump all over the great USA. We start in Portland, OR with Ron McKinnis for the 60th Anniversary Portland Road Show on March 18-20, 2016. After looking though this show coverage it is easy to see that Portland has some of the most amazing custom builds in the county. Next show for the January 2017 Issue we travel with Chris Gosda to Milwaukee, WI for the Brewhaus Car Show on July 23, 2016. Held at the Brown Bottle – Schlitz Park and with a name like Brewhaus you know this day was all about custom cars and Beer! Designated Drives Recommended! For the next show in coverage we travel to Northern Ohio with Des Gower and Check out Dropt-N-Destroyed on the weekend of May 28-29, 2016. A few years ago they moved this show to the Ohio State Reformatory and it is an amazing location for an event. Super cool backdrop for the weekend and if you are up to it you can take a ghost tour all night! To wrap up show coverage for the New Year kick off issue we catch up with Editor Double D at the meca of all street rod show. The 19th annual PPG Good Guys Columbus car show. If you are a serious car enthusiasts this show is a must for your bucket list. Over 7000 custom cars and more vendors then you can visit in a weekend time. For features this month we start on the cover with Josh Kincaid’s 1929 Model A Tudor Rat Rod featuring the beautiful Sonja Blade. Josh’s rat build is one truly original build with custom laser cut control arms, crazy straight pipes and custom stamped door panels and seats. Do not miss this one! Next we catch up with Anthony Carri with another truck that he has built. The “Homewrecker” is a 2001 Chevy Silverado that is laying the body on the ground on air ride with some of the coolest attention to detail we have seen on a Chevy Truck. This is truly an amazing truck make sure to check out this feature. To wrap up features this month we catch up with Lance Everhart and his 2011 Chevy Camaro SS. Lance took his Camaro to Aaron Lynch at Lynch Concepts in Chillicothe Ohio looking for a way to make his Camaro stand out in the show scene. Full custom paint with flames, Ridler Wheels, Vertical Doors and a cowl induction hood later this beast rolled out of the shop. This is one bad ass Camaro make sure to check out the feature. For show coverage this month we are bringing you coverage from coast to coast. We start out on the west coast with Staff Photographer Chromey for the 19th annual Forbidden Fantasy Show in Laughlin, NV on April 2-3, 2016. Forbidden Fantasy has become a must attend event for everyone on the west coast. Just a quick look through the coverage and it is easy to see why this show is a 19 year success. Next we catch up with Ryan Hartley at the Indianapolis Mecum Auto Auction 2016. If you have never had the pleasure of attending one of these Auctions it is truly a great time and packed wall to wall with custom vehicles.. The cool part is they are all for sale and the owners are more than willing to talk to you about every modification, let you sit in them and get you excited to bid on their custom vehicle. Do not miss this coverage. Do you love Rat Rods and Traditional Rods as much as us? If so then this next event is for you. Staff photographer Todd Atkins traveled a few hours south to Louisville, Ky. for Beatersville. Over the years Beatersville has grown into one of the most anticipated event of the summer for the entire custom car community. With pin up girl contest, rockabilly bands and an atmosphere that is always family friendly. Make sure to scroll through all the great coverage for the 2016 Beatersville. To finish up car show coverage this month we travel to Chester, VA and catch up with staff photographer B-Bop at the Rebellion Car Show presented by Drop Em Wear on May 14, 2016. Rebellion is a super cool show and family friendly so no reason to leave the kids at home. For 2016 they had two 50/50 raffles. One for the charity and the other going to the Miltz family. They raised a ton of cash for both. One look through the Rebellion show coverage and it is easy to see they attract so many different types of vehicles, this shows that rebellion is all about what they can do for each other and not about being singled out for the type of build you have. Up next is Michael Amborn and his 1963 Chevy C-10 on smoothies and Whitewalls.. This this is bad to the bone, do not miss it. The next feature vehicle is Coty Milhorn’s 2005 Chevy Colorado that is bagged sporting 22” wheels and custom interior. If you love a Colorado this feature is for you. To wrap up features this month we have one bad ass audio build owned by Aaron Smith. His 2007 Cadillac Esclade ESV has 26” wheels and enough amplifiers, subs and batteries to host his own concert make sure to check out the wild install on this beast. Show coverage this month is all over the map! We start in Indianapolis at the Custom Car Revival 2016 that is full of traditional rods, next we travel out to Boring, OR to the Kickin it Old School show presented by Class act. This show has a heavy mini truck attendance but not limited to just that! Check out the coverage. Next we head to Sevierville, TN for the Sparks Show, Nothing but amazing rides at this event! Up Next is Crusing The OSO presented by Revolution all the way in Big Bear, CA.. This show looks like a great time being at the Lodge and in some of the most beautiful scenery around the so car area. This year was a huge turnout with over 1500 vehicles coming around! Starting with the Cars of Slamology, we had many unique and out of this world cars come in, check it out and see which ride catches your eye! We also had some of the baddest trucks around come out to our show, competition between the cars and the trucks was a close call! Check it out for yourself and see who had the best ride this year. This year we added Semis to our lineup, ATSC Semis came from all over the United States just for you to check out. Our Music Festival is next, we had local bands come out and play some of the hottest hits making the crowd go wild. At Slamology our Audio contest was a huge hit this year. Vehicles from all around come to show off the amazing build to compete in who had the best and loudest audio, check out who won this year! This show is one that you have to attend if you are into some unique, older rides. Next we get to Getting It All Together show. People came around from all around the US to attend this lowrider show. Make sure to check out the coverage to see the famous flame throwing competition! Ducktail Run is next with bringing in the older rides that have been decked out with some of the newer things. This show is one that many people attend to see what people do to the older rides to make them completely unique. Lastly, we get to Volktoberfest. This show is made for the import vehicles, mostly volkswagen, that have been decked out and worked on to be the one ride that sticks out from the crowd. SEMA is an industry only event that draws over 60,000 buyers and sellers in the automotive aftermarket from around the globe. For our next show we spend the day in Indianapolis for the 4 Wheel Jamboree.. Big Trucks, Mud Racing and a whole lot of 4x4 fun.. Next we travel to Austin Texas for the Texas Heat Wave. This year was the 20th anniversary of this show and it just gets better every year. To wrap it up we do some drifting at Auto Mass.

Staff Photographer Nick Means stepped it up this month with a full Halloween themed photo shoots. Feature Vehicles this month are Brian Holthaus and his 1993 body dropped and air bagged Isuzu Pickup, Timothy Rice with his immaculate custom painted and bagged 2012 Charger R/T Max and Chris Owen and his custom 2005 Chevrolet Colorado. Show coverage this month we start in Detroit Michigan for the world famous Detroit Autorama, next we attend one of the Mini Truck Shows of the year in Tennessee at Layd Out at the Park, then we travel back to Indianapolis Indiana for the Mecum Auto Auction and Finish up at Lake Havasu, AZ for the Rockabilly Reunion. To start the month off we have the beautiful Gauge Girl Dana Marie enhancing the amazing full custom air brushed 1992 Toyota pick Up owned by Jamie Krause. Next up for features is an amazing build of a 1940 Mercury Coupe owned by Malvin Weaver. This car has as great of a story as it does appearance. Do not miss the heart touching video on the feature. Josh Molina is up next with his 2000 Chevy S-10 that is smashed to the ground, big offset wheels and built motor. If you are into S10 Trucks this feature is for you. Last but not least is a really cool basic build on a always favorite performance car, Robi Dienes has done a great job with giving his 1998 Toyota Supra Turbo a clean look and a few more ponies under the hood. For car show coverage this month we go west with Staff photographer Ron Mckinnis for Relaxin at the rock 2016 in Corbett, Orgeon, this mini truck show has become a must attend event in the north west. Up next we ride along with Staff photographer B-Bop for two events this month. First is the Southeastern Mini Truckin Nationals on August 23-24,2016 in Maggie Valley, NC. Next she traveled to Myrtle Beach, SC for the Run to the Sun Car show on March 17-19, 2016. To wrap up event coverage this month we stay right at home with Ryan Hartley and Lenny Thompson for the 2016 Indianapolis World Of Wheels presented by Championship Auto Shows. This show is a little extra special to us at Gauge due to we have the honor of presenting the Gauge Magazine.com Lifestyle hall where we get to invite and showcase some of the amazing vehicles that have appeared in or upcoming features in Gauge. 2016 was nothing short of an amazing weekend. We have taken all the hard work out trying to find the SEMA 2016 coverage that you want to find. As we were building our annual all SEMA issue for 2016 we chose to break the coverage up starting on Monday night with the Freaks of Nature Car and Truck Club at Hogs and Heifers Salon just off of Freemont Street on Halloween for the annual Kick Off Party. If you have never had the pleasure of attending this event you have got to put it into your SEMA schedule. Next we break down the thousands of cars with a feature of only the 2wd Trucks of the show. To follow that up we break out all the Domestic Cars of SEMA 2016. Following up Domestic Cars we have a double feature of Gauge Girls with the beautiful Wet Sounds models Andrea Rivss and Tawny Triska on Tim White’s totally custom copper highlighted Cadillac. The next special feature is nothing but the SEMI’s and Haulers at SEMA 2016. This year was amazing with the amount of custom haulers and SEMI’s at the show. As if that were not enough now we feature nothing but the models and hotties of the show. SEMA and Las Vegas are all about beautiful woman and the floor of SEMA show is no different. Love the big 4x4 trucks? Yes we broke out these beautiful large trucks next for an all 4x4 of SEMA feature. Import and exotic cars are always a crowd favorite.. So make sure to check out the imports of SEMA 2016 special feature in the magazine. As our magazine as grown and the Motorcycles of the world have become more popular so have their attendance at the SEMA show. We broke all the cool ass bike of SEMA out of the coverage in an All Motorcycles of SEMA Feature. To wrap up the issue we will do just as SEMA has done and feature the official after show: SEMA IGNITED… This after party and show has become the only way to finish up the week with drifting cars, bands, burnouts and builder of the year awards.
